Balancing Personal and Work-Time

Balancing Personal and Work-Time

How can we intervene on the organization?

Work teams who achieve best performances are those in which workers are able to balance work time and personal time.

In several European countries, balancing personal and work time seems to be a mostly female problem, it concerns all ages and is influenced by contextual factors (e.g. presence of child care services, home chores distribution...).

International observers maintain that in contexts where work and personal time are unbalanced, less children are born and occupation rates, especially for women, is lower.

Attention is mostly directed at normative and organizational aspects of work, while its emotional and relational consequences are often overlooked.

In some countries, workaholism affects up to 20% of the population. People who suffer from it experience severe consequences on their personal, relational and affective lives.

Such reactions are often coupled with physical symptoms (such as high heart rate and breathing, digestive problems, psychosomatic pain...) that tend to resolve once a more functional personal balance is restored.

Our approach in a nutshell

Hypnosis and self-hypnosis contribute to the achievement of better emotional balance, which, in turn, facilitate the individuation of one’s true needs and the optimization of one’s resources.

Our interventions favor the establishment of a better management of inner resources. By facilitating a more functional expression of unconscious needs, hypnosis and self-hypnosis allow for the emergence of practical solutions that can promote the balancing of personal and work time.
